“VRS” exhaust rotary valves

This type of valve can be used both as a simple volumetric metering device and as a sealing device for the transfer of powder or granular product, between environments at different pressures.

Furthermore, this valve can be used to directly feed pneumatic conveyors.

Main characteristics:

  • accurate mechanical processing that allows its insertion in points where the pressure values, upstream and downstream, may have significant differences;
  • particularly sturdy and reliable construction, in compliance with accident prevention regulations;
  • constructions foreseen in cast iron with or without thick chromium plating, AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel.
  • construction also planned for ATEX areas.

Special executions:

  • rotor with blunt blades;
  • rotor with replaceable coatings on the blades in different materials suitable for the product to be treated;
  • execution for high temperatures;
  • execution for quick disassembly of the rotor.

“VRF” fluidizing rotary valve

This type of valve is the sealing element that allows the solid powder product to be introduced directly into the pneumatic conveying line that crosses it.

Main characteristics:

  • accurate mechanical processing that guarantees a good seal even when the pressure values are relevant;
  • pressurizable shaft end seals;
  • particularly sturdy and reliable construction, in compliance with accident prevention regulations;
  • constructions foreseen in cast iron with or without thick chromium plating, AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel.
  • construction also planned for ATEX areas.

Special executions:

This type of valve is the most commonly used equipment when it is necessary to convey a flow of moving product along a pneumatic conveying line, at low or medium pressure, to different arrival points.

 

Main characteristics:

  • seal of the band ensured by rubber and Teflon gaskets;
  • pipe fittings available with flange according to UNI or ANSI series;
  • particularly sturdy and reliable construction, in compliance with accident prevention regulations;
  • possibility to control the valve manually or by means of a pneumatic cylinder with or without position signaling limit switches;
  • constructions available in aluminum, cast iron, AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel.
  • construction also planned for ATEX areas.

Damper valve

Damper valve

This type of valve is built with particular criteria, both mechanical and conceptual, to ensure the highest degree of sealing against the escape of dust.

It has no metal sliding in the product fall area and therefore guarantees perfect operation even when working with particularly difficult products.

Main characteristics:

  • particularly accurate dust seals;
  • absence of metallic friction surfaces in the product fall area;
  • possible actuations with manual control, by handwheel, or electro-pneumatic, with or without positioning limit switch;

Planned constructions:

  • construction available with cast aluminum case and stainless steel blade, or in AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel for all parts in contact with the product;
  • construction also planned for ATEX areas.

Throttle

Throttle

This type of valve is widely used as a sectioning machine for air flow in pneumatic ducts (suction or pressure).

It is also used to intercept the discharge flow from hoppers of solid, powder or granular products.

Main characteristics:

  • tightness guaranteed by an interchangeable gasket that completely isolates the valve body from the process;
  • body without flanges designed to be placed directly between the flanges of the pipeline (PN10 – PN16);
  • elimination of the junction gaskets of the flanges, as the seal is ensured by the particular shape of the main gasket;
  • possible operations with manual or electro-pneumatic control, with or without positioning limit switches;
  • gasket available in different types of elastomer for particular applications: food, high temperatures; acids, solvents, etc.
  • butterfly available in different materials: cast iron, bronze, AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel;
  • construction also planned for ATEX areas.

Flap valve

This type of valve is built in different sizes, with electro-pneumatic control, it is particularly suitable for abruptly intercepting the flow of materials feeding into hoppers-scales.

 

 

Main characteristics:

  • particularly accurate dust seals;
  • gasket available in different types of elastomer for particular applications: food, high temperatures, acids, solvents, etc.
  • construction in carbon steel, or in AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel for all parts in contact with the product;
  • construction also planned for ATEX areas.
