SCREW COOLER

It’s essentially composed of 2 intersecting spirals to carry the product, having hollow shafts and gaps on the coils, for the passage of the cooling liquid; these coils are situated in a chamber crossed by a cooling liquid.
The fluid generally used for the cooling is water.
The spirals are sustained by special supports with powder sealing rings fluxed with gas and the liquid is inserted by means of rotating joints.
It’s also made of parts with perfect powder sealing, easily removable for the internal washing.

This machine consents to reduce the humidity of the powders up to obtain a value lower than 1%.
It’s essentially a conveyor composed of 1 or more screws in series with an exchange surface of about 7 square meters, crossed upstream by 170°C diathermic oil.
Along the bottom of the screw there is a porous septum in which is injected dry and hot gas with checked pressure and capacity in order to eliminate the humidity.
The injected gas is expelled by means of a sleeve filter placed over the discharging mouth of the screw.
It’s also made with powder sealing parts, easily dismountable for the internal washing.
