The mechanical screw conveyor is widely used to convey and/or meter pulverized or granulated solids, also on long distances.
Is made into various types : tube or canal (easily checked), single or double screw (for particularly “difficult” products).
Conveyor with special loader at the intake opening to improve the infeed by means of a stirrer.
Main features:
- construction made of carbon steel or stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316, with shafts tempered and chromates, supported by bearings protected with special mechanical seals.
- drive with geared motor and chain transmission and, upon request, with mechanical speed variator or electronic servo-control for motor revolution change.
- construction planned for ATEX zone.
